The Japanese Rose is native to tropical climates, so in our cooler British climate it prefers to remain indoors, ideally in a sunny spot, but away from direct sunlight.

When the soil feels dry to the touch simply add a little water and a little plant food every other week if you have some.

Its rich, velvety blooms will continue to flourish for a good few weeks. Remove the flowers as they fade and soon brand new flowers will appear from their numerous buds.
