Red Lips are seriously easy to look after. They are perfect indoor plants and are equally happy sitting outside mid May through until early October.

They are hardy and can survive days without water. During the summer months they would appreciate an occasional soak, watering moderately. Every two or three weeks remove the inner pot from the opal glass and place into a sink filled with a few inches of water. Leave for 15 mins or so to allow your plant to soak up as much as needed. During the winter you can leave them for a good few weeks without water, keeping the soil almost dry.

In spring and summer, using good quality plant food, feed once every two weeks.

Red Lips love sunny spots - the intensity of red on their leaves increases with the more sun and love they receive. They are happy outdoors between our warmer months (mid May through until early October) and indoors during the cooler months.
