Zygos are easy to care for and are extremely resilient. Follow these simple care instructions and your beautiful Orchid will remain in flower for up to 8 weeks.

We recommend daily temperatures of between 7 and 24 degrees (18 to 35 in the warmer summer months); they can tolerate significant night time drops.

Your Zygo will be happiest in good light, but not direct sunlight.

Never let your plant completely dry out - water thoroughly from the top and leave to drain (use rainwater if possible). We place your Zygo on top of a thin layer of porous pebbles, which helps with drainage, but please do watch that it is never allowed to sit in water. You may decide to remove your Zygo from its outer glass pot for each watering. They like a little humidity if possible and a good amount of air movement to help dry their leaves after watering.

Your Zygo may re-flower within the year - once the last flower on a stem has withered, just snip the stem a couple of centimetres from the base. This will help produce subsequent growth and hopefully new flowers!
