Philippa Craddock began when Philippa was searching for a suitable wedding gift for a close family friend. She wanted to find a gift that would be lasting and have a sense of 'life' to it. Nothing quite hit the mark. Soon this search for a wedding present evolved into an obsession for high quality, unique gifts. Philippa's tireless energy and pursuit of beautifully packaged living plants, has resulted in the collections now provided by Philippa Craddock.
Every element of the gift is carefully considered and thought through. Philippa works with some of the UK's leading experts to develop the very best plants, packaging and pots. The passion of everyone involved, along with their expertise combines to create a gift that is enjoyed and treasured by all.
Philippa is inspired each and every day at Pheasants Hatch: home to her family and her business. The gardens of Pheasants Hatch have been open to the public for the last fifty years through The National Garden Scheme (NGS). Since 1927, the NGS has sought to open private gardens of interest and high quality to the general public and now raises £2m each year funding charities to help people who are ill or under stress.
