Once it is ready to be popped back outside, you can either keep it in its pot displayed on a garden table, or plant it straight into your garden (and then use your pot to store kitchen utensils!).
When planting directly into your garden, there are a few key, yet simple points to remember: remove your plant from its pot and gently separate its roots; Hebe's are particularly at home in sheltered and sunny spots; leave a small mound of soil around the base - this discourages water from sitting too close to the stems (and encourages the water to move out towards the root tips); and finally, never over water your Hebe, they can withstand dry spells.
By following these simple instructions your Hebe should last year after year, with flowers appearing from mid summer through until mid autumn.
