The Oxfam Wedding Auction

We were thrilled to be asked a few days ago to work alongside one of the most fabulous, worthy and dedicated charities, Oxfam, by contributing flowers to their Wedding Auction, which has just opened and finishes in one week, on Wednesday 9th May.

Supported by the inspiring LoveMyDress wedding blog and the gorgeous peeps at Brides magazine, and working alongside a whole bunch of fabulous contemporaries such as By Appointment Only, Hayford & Rhodes, Sassi Holford, Jenny Packham, Ian Stuart and Errol Douglas, we will be supplying one lucky bidder their bridal flowers (including a hand tied bridal bouquet, up to two hand tied bridesmaids’ bouquets and up to five buttonholes) all made from the most beautiful seasonal flowers.

A little about the incredible work Oxfam do, summarised from LoveMyDress - all monies raised via this special auction will go to Oxfam Unwrapped’s emergency work in poor countries around the world.

in 2011, Oxfam reached 532,000 people as they moved their focus from emergency response to reconstruction.  Currently in West Africa there are 13 million people are at risk of serious food shortages across the Sahel region. Oxfam aims to reach 1 million of them.

The money raised through the Oxfam Weddings Auction could be used to reach these people….
