LILY OF THE VALLEY

FOUR DESIGN IDEAS & CONDITIONING GUIDE

LILY OF THE VALLEY - with its fragrant, delicate stems and surprising strength and longevity - is a superb stem for numerous designs. In this 10 ten minute video Tutorial, I demonstrate a set-by-step guide for a table design with elegant bud vases, a buttonhole/boutonnière and best steps for conditioning. I also take you through the introduction to a petite, light, hand tie/bouquet and an idea for a flower crown.

TO FOLLOW THE TWO TUTORIALS IN THE VIDEO - BUD VASES & BUTTONHOLE/BOUTONNIERE - YOU WILL NEED:
Eight stems of Lily of the valley - for both designs
A few stems of greenery - for the buttonhole
Petite bud vases - the footed glass vases I used came from Petersham Nurseries
Scissors - the ones I use are made by a Japanese company called Sakagen, various stockists online
Pot tape - to secure the buttonhole, sourced from florist sundry suppliers
Ribbon - to finish the buttonhole. I used a hand dyed raw silk ribbon, you can find some brilliant independent suppliers online at Etsy
